Why & where did you start your yoga journey?

It started when my conventional (midwest norm) world started to implode.

What do you feel people can gain from yoga? 

Clarity, connectedness, confidence.


What has yoga done for you personally?

It has given me a family and the ability to embrace the uncertainty of the unknown. 


What is your fondest teaching memory at Root River Yoga?

I was terrified to step into someone else's shoes when I first started subbing for the Friday classes. I had so many questions and concerns for the experienced yogis and for what I was going to bring them as an instructor. I walked into the space, introduced myself, started class with a reading titled "Say Thank YOU" and held those words within each breath and each beat of my rhythm. After class, the Lanesboro yogis filled my heart with such gratitude and grace. They all welcomed my 'different' style of teaching into their space and were looking forward to the next time we would get to 'flow' together. I have held the love of the Lanesboro yogis deep within my heart space.
